REFUND & SATISFACTION POLICY

At Scrubbies Detailing, we take great pride in our craftsmanship. Because detailing is a service-based business, we do not offer traditional cash or credit card refunds once a service has been completed. Our policy focuses on ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the work performed.
1. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE (RE-DO POLICY)
If you are not satisfied with your auto spa or portable detailing service, please follow these steps:

On-Site Inspection: We strongly encourage you to inspect your vehicle with our technician immediately upon completion. Any areas of concern will be addressed on the spot at no extra charge.

The 24-Hour Window: If you discover a missed area after our technician has left, you must notify us via phone or email within 24 hours of the service.

Our Resolution: If the claim is valid, we will schedule a follow-up “touch-up” session to correct the specific area of concern at no cost to you.
2. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS
Refunds or free re-dos will not be issued for:

Wear and Tear: Permanent damage such as deep scratches, cracked leather, or severe paint oxidation that cannot be removed via standard detailing.

Third-Party Issues: Mechanical or electrical failures unrelated to the cleaning process.

Customer Expectations: Results that were limited by the vehicle’s pre-existing condition (which the technician will note during the initial walkthrough).

Change of Mind: If you decide you no longer want a specific package after the work has already begun.
3. DEPOSITS & CANCELLATION REFUNDS
If you paid a deposit at the time of booking:

Full Refund: Eligible if you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Late Cancellation: Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, as this time slot was reserved exclusively for you.

No-Shows: If our portable unit arrives at your location and the vehicle is not available or accessible, the full deposit (or a $50 service fee) will be charged.
4. WEATHER-RELATED RESCHEDULING
As a portable service provider, we cannot control the elements. If we must cancel due to rain, snow, or extreme weather, we do not issue refunds. Instead, we will automatically transfer your payment/deposit to a rescheduled date that works for you.
5. TRANSACTION FEES
In rare cases where a management-approved refund is issued, please note that payment processing fees (typically 3%) charged by credit card companies (Stripe, Square, etc.) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total.
